Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Depart early from Marrakech and cross the High Atlas Mountains via the scenic Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260m). Visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ait Ben Haddou, a famous ksar used in many films like Gladiator and Game of Thrones. Continue to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa," then drive through the Skoura Oasis and Valley of Roses to reach Dades Valley for dinner and overnight stay in a traditional riad or hotel.

Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, drive through the dramatic Todra Gorge, a natural canyon with towering red cliffs. Continue to Erfoud, known for its fossil workshops, and reach Merzouga — the gateway to the Erg Chebbi dunes. Enjoy a camel trek into the dunes at sunset and spend the night in a luxury desert camp, with dinner, music, and stargazing under the Sahara sky.

Day 3

Merzouga – Desert Experience

Wake up early to catch the sunrise over the dunes, then enjoy breakfast at camp. Today is dedicated to discovering the life of the desert — visit Khamlia village to listen to traditional Gnawa music, explore nomadic families, and drive to Erg Chebbi's panoramic viewpoints. Optional activities: quad biking or sandboarding. Overnight in Merzouga.

Day 4

Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt

After breakfast, depart for Fes, passing through the stunning Ziz Valley, filled with palm groves and Berber villages. Stop for lunch in Midelt, a town nestled between the Middle and High Atlas Mountains. Overnight stay at a comfortable riad or guesthouse.

Day 5

Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes

Drive through the Cedar Forests of Azrou, where you can meet the famous Barbary monkeys. Continue to Ifrane, known as the "Switzerland of Morocco," before arriving in Fes, your final destination. Drop-off at your hotel or riad.
