Itinerary
Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
Depart early from Marrakech over Tizi n’ Tichka (2260m). Visit UNESCO-listed Ait Ben Haddou, continue via Ouarzazate and Skoura/Valley of Roses to Dades Valley. Dinner and overnight in a riad or hotel.
Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga Desert
Explore the dramatic Todra Gorge, then reach Merzouga at the edge of Erg Chebbi. Camel ride into the dunes for sunset and overnight in a desert camp under the stars.
Merzouga – Desert Experience
Sunrise over the dunes, breakfast, then a day to discover desert life: Khamlia Gnawa music, nomad encounters, fossil sites, optional quad biking or sandboarding. Overnight in Merzouga area (camp or hotel).
Merzouga – Ziz Valley – Midelt – Fes
Leave the Sahara via the palm-filled Ziz Valley. Cross the Middle Atlas to Midelt and continue to Fes for the night in a traditional riad.
Fes – Rif Mountains – Chefchaouen
Journey through the Rif Mountains to Chefchaouen. Arrive to the blue-washed medina, drop-off at your accommodation. End of tour.
