Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the hike?

Typically 1.5–2.5 hours broken into easy segments. We can shorten or extend based on your comfort.

Is lunch really included?

Yes—traditional Moroccan lunch in Imlil is included in the $70 pp rate.

Do I need a guide?

The valley paths are straightforward, but a local trek guide adds culture, stories, and hidden viewpoints. You can add one for €70 per group (up to 6).

Can kids join?

Absolutely. Families often choose the gentler village loop and/or a short mule ride.

What about bad weather?

Light rain: we proceed with adjustments. Severe weather: we reroute, reschedule, or offer alternatives.

What if I don't have hiking shoes?

Comfortable closed-toe sneakers are fine. Avoid sandals on uneven paths.

Will I get altitude sickness?

Unlikely at Imlil's elevation (~1,740 m). Stay hydrated and walk at an easy pace.

Can you cater to dietary needs?

Yes—please tell us in advance (vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, etc.).
