Itinerary

Day 1

Marrakech – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley

Depart early from Marrakech and drive across the Tizi n'Tichka Pass (2260m) through the stunning High Atlas Mountains. Stop at the UNESCO World Heritage Site Ait Ben Haddou, famous for its ancient architecture and movie history (Gladiator, Game of Thrones). Continue to Ouarzazate, the "Hollywood of Africa," and then head to the Dades Valley, passing by the Valley of Roses and traditional Berber villages.

Overnight: Hotel or Riad in Dades Valley.

Day 2

Dades Valley – Todra Gorge – Merzouga (Erg Chebbi Dunes)

After breakfast, continue to the spectacular Todra Gorge, where you can walk between towering cliffs rising up to 300 meters. Continue your journey toward the Sahara, passing through Erfoud and Rissani, known for their fossil markets.

Arrive in Merzouga, where your camel awaits to take you across the dunes for a magical sunset ride. Reach your desert camp, enjoy a delicious Moroccan dinner, and spend the night under the stars with Berber music by the fire.

Overnight: Desert camp in Merzouga (standard or luxury).

Day 3

Merzouga – Draa Valley – Ouarzazate – Marrakech

Wake up early to witness a stunning sunrise over the dunes. After breakfast at camp, return by camel or 4x4 and start your journey back to Marrakech. Travel through Alnif, Tazzarine, and the beautiful Draa Valley, with its vast palm groves and kasbahs. Stop in Ouarzazate for lunch, then continue via the Atlas Mountains to arrive in Marrakech in the evening.
